Acclima SCX Upgrade Kit

SCX, try saying it ten times fast! Although it has a funny name this upgrade kit is a serious water saver. The Acclima SCX controller connects to your existing timer and the Acclima sensor is buried in your turf connecting to a solenoid valve (you do not have to trench back to the controller, only to a nearby solenoid valve). The Acclima SC6/12 controller combines the power of Acclima moisture sensing into a controller. Extremely flexible this Acclima controller can handle nearly every conceivable irrigation need. The Acclima SC6/12 controller is offered in two versions: a six zone and twelve zone version. "The learning curve to operate the system was very user friendly and easy to pick up. They ability to change the programming from zone to zone to increase/decrease was extremely easy compared to [Competitor Model]. I also liked the fact that the system was actually reading the actual soil conditions vs. going off a computer model of the (somewhat) local weather.
